Shantu and the Dragon, a Teatru Qroqq* project, is a delightful original fairytale written and directed by Alfred Mallia and produced by Isabelle Gatt.

Target age group: children aged 7-11.
Summary: In the imaginary world, Shantu, the protagonist, is a young man whose livelihood is threatened because of polluted water. He decides to find the source of this pollution even if it means facing the unknown, fear, superstition and power. The script is essentially about environmental issues, but is also about finding one's voice, fighting for one's rights and refusing to be exploited.
