VCCA Artists Exchange Programme
St James Cavalier invites artists to participate in the VCCA artist Exchange Programme.

Salt of the Earth, the Sea and of Me
Join us on Saturday 22 June,for an evening of contemporary and 20th Century music by pianist Tricia Dawn Williams who will be presenting a program of 20th century and contemporary works by composers from Hungary, America, France and Malta. 22 June at 8 pm

Met Summer Encores! - Il Trovatore - Verdi
The second in our serie sof Met Live in HD encore's is David McVicar's stirring production of Verdi’s intense drama made famous for its ever popular Anvil Chorus Please note new date: 3 July at 7 pm

Met Summer Encores! - Armida - Rossini
The third in our series of Summer encores stars Renee Fleming in her title role of Rossini's Armida opposite no less then five tenors! 10 July at 7 pm

Met Summer Encores! - La Traviata - Verdi
Natalie Dessay stars as Verdi’s most beloved heroine in Willy Decker's stunning production, first seen at the Met in 2010. 17 July at 7 pm

Dream Deep - A concert organsied by WAY
"WAY is a section within ZHN (Zghazagh Haddiema Nsara) made up of 9 members aged 17 and 18. It was formed in the summer of 2009, and is still going strong - meeting every Saturday to discuss both Christian and sociological issues Aside from the Christian beliefs, music is also the common ground in WAY and has been flourishing since 2010. This is the second concert they are presenting, this time in aid of a local children's charity 26-27 July at 7.30 pm

One more chance to see Franco Zeffirelli's truly spectacular production of this dark but ever popular opera which includes the famous aria Nessun Dorma 24 July at 7 pm

Met Summer Encores! - Il Barbiere di Siviglia - Rossini
This Encore of this much loved comic opera is actually a premiere for Malta as it has never been seen before. A truly scintillating way to end the season! 31 July at 7 pm

Met Opera 2013-14 Eugene Onegin - TCHAIKOVSKY
Composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky., the libretto, retains much of the poetry of Alexander Pushkin's novel. Eugene Onegin is a well-known example of lyric opera, to which Tchaikovsky added music of a dramatic nature. The opera was first performed in Moscow in 1879. Eugene Onegin is a co-production of the Metropolitan Opera and English National Opera. October 12 at 7 pm
